    Emerald, to put it simply, a spoiled kid. She's sassy and stubborn and quite rash, but also has quite an open-minded, understanding and flexible side. Em is very full of herself and thinks highly of everything she does, and sometimes it's warranted. Em here is a very active Riolu, she loves all kinds of sports, being fairly good at the lot of them and is not afraid to try new things. Her active nature makes her quite adventerous and brave, or sometimes just reckless. Because she's more than ready to try new things, they can sometimes be... a bit too much for her to handle. She would never admit such a thing, but it's a fact of her personality nonetheless. Lastly, because of her upbringing, she can be quite... bratty and looks down on other mons a lot. If they aren't at the same level, they aren't worth her time. At least, that's what she goes by. She does have a heart of course, you just have to break past her rather off-putting exterior. I guess you could say she's a diamond in the rough... or, to be precise, an Emerald.

History:
    The region of Fiore has always been interesting, with it's huge Pokemon Ranger program that spreads across the region. And the Pax family was at the top of their game. When their young, silver furred daughter was born to the Lucario and Blaziken family they were a bit concerned. Miscoloration is nothing new in nature, but white fur usually means albinoism-- which would make things quite difficult in their line of work. However, they were worried for nothing, as their daughter's eyes were green as emeralds and just as beautiful. The couple had quite a difficult time settling on a name, so they combined it into Anapa-Bastet. and thus, the newest member to the Pax Ranger family was none other than Anapa-Bastet Eos Pax. 
    
    As a young child, Anapa always had two things on her mind. To be as active and fit as her parents, and to find a simplier name... Anapa-Bastet was difficult for the young fox to say ti her friends at school and around town, but they always complimented her emerald-ereen eyes. So, she adopted Emerald as her name. Life was exciting for the little fox, with both her parents being top rangers. When she wasn't at school or doing sports, she was in the field with her beloved parents. They were famous all around Fiore, for pulling off top-notch rescues and handling of feral problems that some others could only dream about. To her, it was truly the best life.

    Despite their heroics and countless amount of grants from the Ranger League for their hard work, the family lived quite modestly. However, they spared no expense for their daughter. If she wanted the newest cutting-end clothes, she'll get them. If she wanted the most popular, expensive toy that year, she'll get it. Whatever she wanted, her parents would get her. At first she didn't use it that much. Being very gracious with what she wanted and what her parents would get her. But, as she grew older, she wanted more and more sometimes trivial things, and she had the means to get it. She soon asked her parents for things she didn't even want, just wanted to get it to spite her neighbors or classmates. Intially, it went over the couple's head, but eventually they found out what she was doing.

    They signed her up for more sports, more tutoring, more anything to keep her busy and not abuse the power her parents gave to her. They eventually adopted the "Say no" policy, but Emerald's temper-tantrums would not go away with age, and frequently made home-life and work difficult, and they gave in to their baby girl. Her extracurriculars were meant to keep her busy, but she developed many mean streaks during practices and games. Being a ball hog in some sports, taking the most important position in others. And not many of her teammates could argue with her abilities or even match them, so they reluctantly let it go and let her do what she wanted.

    Soon, she became lazy and began putting off things or not giving them a 100%. She figured because she was already so great, she doesn't need to try her best all the time. Her grades started slipping and her sports teams began to go lower and lower in the ranks. The parents were torn, the grades were obviously not her best but they weren't failing. They could tell she wasn't trying or giving it her best effort, but it was still enough to get by. Eventually, her uncle step in and talked to her parents. He expressed that this kind of behavior could be very bad in the future and she needs to start working on an attitude check. Her parents agreed, reluctantly, but were not quite sure on how to do it. The Uncle suggested some boarding schools that might help her change her character for the better. They looked and looked, and while a few caught their eye, they weren't sure it would be the right place for their daughter.

    Then they found Armonia. An institute located on Hoenn's very own Faraway Island. As they read more and more into it, they decided that this school, this Armonia Institute, would be the one for her. They started working on the paperwork and told their daughter the news. Understandably, she was upset. Being sent away from her parents is no picnic for anyone, and while she begged them to let her stay... they wouldn't. It was a tough decision for the family but they had a feeling it will work out for the best. So, as soon as everything was cleared, they sent her off to that special Insitute...

Hold Hands (4 year Anniversary)-Ally Pokémon hold hands. This makes them very happy.

*She's won a few swimming competitions and even made it to nationals in Fiore a few times
*Never been out of Fiore until she got sent to Armonia
*The only sport she's not good at is Cheerleading. She argues it isn't a real sport in defense.
*The only sport she has yet to try is American Football, as they were no leagues in Fiore.
*Her favorite sports are Swimming, Horseback Riding, Soccer/Football, and Track and Field.
*Also a huge fashionista and loves shopping, but knows some mons in her age-group find that stupid so she's usually pretty quiet about it and instead expressed her sports loving side more.
